3 months on

So it's been 3 months from 11 July 2011.
My boss marked it by starting the wheels of the 'confirmation' wagon.

Felicia do not worry about yr confirmation. I will always be there for you. Remember to nv stop learning and improve on yr technical skill. Pardon me for not being able to attend to you sometime. My apologies on that.
Objective is to grow and u play an important part in the team. ;) it a pleasure to have you in the team and I want u to stay here as long as possible.

What better affirmation can one get.

It's been a wonderful 3 months, and I could never have gotten this far without the people that I have come into contact with. It's funny how it has fallen so perfectly into place, as if the Higher Power made it specially for me. The twists of fates, the timing of events, the people I have met who nudge me into this direction... It felt right, right from the beginning, and it hasn't changed.

Never would I have construed how conducive the work environment could be - it's almost as if it's the prefect mix of challenges and breezes, independence and support, colleagues and friends.

Notable events over the past 3 months -
At 8.30am, the Contractor calls. 'I cannot come for the 9.30am testing we have scheduled today.' It was as if the world stopped turning for a while. The sales team helped me with a few calls, but it was futile. Gboss heard about it. His response, 'Don't worry I will solve it for you'. The next thing I knew, the ENTIRE team was on the phone. Well-connected calls were made, schedules were changed, logistics were spontaneously sorted out, and from have ZERO people going to conduct the test, we ended up having 7 engineers and 2 external help on the job. On my job. I couldn't have been more touched.

I was supposed to look at the contents of the Client's drawer, AND I COULDN'T OPEN IT! My boss, who was in the middle of his own meeting, talked me through every little step. 'Lock it on the bottom right corner... 45 degrees clockwise, pull.... '

And he has always been there. Even to the wee hours of the morning, because I haven't been competent enough to do my quotes independently.

I am truly grateful.
And I shall show that by getting >60%.
