beautiful things.
It was Pat's birthday yesterday.
Happy 21st babe!
We spent the entire dinner and drinks after that talking about 'growing up'!!(??)
And then Diane and I did the craziest but nicest thing ever.
Heeheehee we braved the cold and the rain and the security guards to walk into the casino to eat the $2 fish and chips.
Wahahahahhahaa.
And went for coffee halfway in our walk back.
Coffee itself was one eventful time.
Yes papa, I know it was the mooncake festival, because this dude Diane asked if the place was still open, came up and presented us with a whole entire mooncake!
I thought that was just hilarious.
I once wrote that blogging is a wonderful thing because it helps me record the beautiful stuff that has been happening, which always makes me happy.
I'm happy :D
So here's one more beautiful update -
I've found an Angel in my life.
Thank God for my Angel.

Followed the link on PZ's blog to find out how evil I am.
Hey babe, compared with you I'm an angel, and I'm proud of it :P
I am 14% evil.
I try to stay away from evil deeds but succumb to temptation every once in a while. I'm not quite on my way to hell but I certainly have some explaining to do.
Are you evil? find out at Hilowitz.com
Heeheehee.

My thoughts of the Social Justice Statement
Just spent a good portion of the last hour reading the Social Justice
Sunday Statement of 2004 issued by the Australian Catholic Bishops
Conference.
It is one of the better pieces of writing I've read in a long time.
It starts off with the greeting 'peace be with you' on the cover.
The definition of Peace is given, followed by where it is cultivated, the areas of society in which it's lacking, and finally what can be done about it.
Here are some quotes which touched me -
- Requirements for peace: truth, justice, love and freedom.
- The family 'is the primary agent of a future of peace'
- Education, in its full sense, is the key to true equality
- There can be no peace among nations without peace among religions
- Development is the new name for peace
- Peace is our duty
The article ends with the beatitude 'Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God'. (Matthew 5:9) The quote printed on the back cover of the booklet - Peace is not the product of terror or fear.
Peace is not the silence of
cemeteries.
Peace is not the silent result of violent repression.
Peace is the generous, tranquil contribution of all to the good of all.
Peace is dynamism. Peace is generosity. It is right and it is duty. Archbishop Oscar Romero I was social justice minister for a year and in that year I tried to understand what Social Justice was all about.
I found a most fitting description of it today (months after serving my term), that it is peace, because 'justice builds peace when ... we respect others' rights and fulfil our duties towards them'. Heh - I know I'm slow but at least I found out *grinz*. Peace be with you, my friend.

Magnificat
Mary's Song of Praise
My soul glorifies the Lord
My spirit rejoices in God my Saviour
He looks on His servant in her lowliness
Henceforth all ages shall call me blessed
The almighty works marvels for me
Holy is his name
His mercy is from age to age
On those who fear Him
He puts forth His arm in strength
And scatters the proud hearted
He casts the mighty from their thrones
And raises the lowly
He fills the starving with good things
Sends the rich away empty
He protects Israel His servant
Remebering His mercy
The mercy promised to our fathers
To Abraham and His sons forever
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, it is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
-As I remember it from the Legion handbook. Think it's pg 133. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The break until today.
The Break Until Today
Whoohoo!
Me's got Diane crazy bout the Canon too!
Heeheehee.
Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing - one more Canon nut.
This first week of the holidays have been beautifully spent.
Sunday -
Cleaned the house the entire afternoon.
It was and still is spankingly clean.
Monday
Surprised Shuyan in the morning cos it was her birthday - Happy Birthday babe!
Went to meet Sister and spoke to her for a good hour.
4 hours of Borders re-reading the books I've read before...
Tuesday
Was too beautiful to spend alone.
I had lunch with a good friend and we all went to Carlton Gardens.
I was cheated of my initial plan to tan...
The sun was beautiful but I didn't grow a shade darker.
Spoke to Diane on the couch till I fell asleep - heehee how rude.
Wednesday
We went to the beach.
'How was the beach?' you might ask.
Well it was cold and sandy.
Bad bad weather.
And I was once again cheated of my tan.
Thursday
Spent the entire day out.
Shopping in Melbourne made lovely *grinz*
Had such a great time with such a special bunch of people I forgot I was tired till I got home.
Thank you for the company.
Friday
According to Diane,
Winter holidays: Felicia deprived.
Spring break: (Almost)Felicia overdose.
Today has been a slow, quiet day yet.
Love it.
Holidays in Melb aren't so bad after all.
Of course Home would be the ultimate best way to spend it.

God can't do math
Fr Johnson once said that if there's one thing God can't do, it's maths.
He goes on to explain that it's because He is not calculative.
No tooth for tooth, tit for tat.
A hundredfold of rewards...
Hmm He's got so much He just wants to give as much as the lousy human can take as long as the lousy human shows the slightest interest in wanting any.
.... My thoughts I didn't share at today's Bible sharing cos we ran out of time.
Still love you.

My Hair
I feel the need to document the horror of all horrors!
I cut my hair.
It's now short.
Ask me if you wanna see it...
I look good.
My initial inspiration to cut hair - Christine.
My cut hair catalyst - Justin.
Fashion advisor - Jason.
Wet blankets - Daniel and the rest of the engineers.
Ego boosters - the entire Cosdu save Noel.
Christine!
Spent the entire yesterday evening pigging out with her.
Heeheeheeheehee.
Piggies are piggies and always will be piggies who pig.
Let me introduce Pwat.
He's the pink stress pig behind the checkout counter in Coles whom Christine brought home to me.
Squeezing his ears towards his feet just makes you feel like saying 'pwat', and hence his name.
Went to the Secret Garden on Thursday evening.
Check out the pictures!
Love ya.
