On doing work and then getting paid (Jobs)

Engineering was a real job cos it involved bosses, professionalism, number crunching and development of core skills.

Sales in a corporate training company was not a real job cos even though it involved offices and bosses, it was only about telephone calls and then more talking face-to-face; It could have become a real job if it evolved to actually becoming a trainer.

So of course the current jobs is a great joke. Or rather, a 'gap year job which you eventually have to move on from cos it has no future, right?' So due to this current job, she is unable to be serious, have proper conversations, hence 80% of the time she's just making noises, so it's understandable that she is ignored.
